I posted a note on the Pakaraka Permaculture Facebook page this week, asking if they are ready to receive the influx of people who will be coming for the last two-day workshop of the tour. They said “We’re ready”.
This will be the last two-day workshop with Jean-Martin Fortier and Curtis Stone, and what a beautiful venue for it! Yotam and Niva have been developing their gardens on this stunning property, nestled in the Kauaerenga Valley, since the Spring of 2014 and have achieved so much already!
Come and take in the knowledge that will be freely shared by our visiting rockstar market gardeners. They’ll be presenting in the Kauaerenga Hall where we’ll enjoy delicious catered food by Emma Cowan. For those who want to camp, there’s a site under the Pecan trees by the river, where you can enjoy the good company of our hosts and the other participants. Caitie and Gerald Endt from the Barrier are coming, and Marco and Tess of the Crafty Gatherer will be there with their NZ made broadfork.
If you haven’t booked yet, jump in. This is going to be an awesome event! And of course if one of the other workshop venues is closer to you, then grab a place there. The workshop the weekend before at Jodi Roebuck’s will be the first to book out, but there’s still plenty of space in the others.
